An aircraft significantly expands opportunities for adventure!

The Great Lakes region, particularly Lakes Michigan, Superior and Huron, plus thousands of inland lakes, is a paddling and hiking paradise. From the air in the summer and fall, the area is world of islands, deserted beaches, forests, and Caribbean-colored waters. I can load my foldable kayak and camping gear in the back of the aircraft and reach dozens of pristine and remote wilderness regions, often in less than an hour.

In the winter, Mexico and the Bahamas are 9 hour flights from the Great Lakes region. For those places, add the snorkeling gear!
